Featured Suppliers.

We’re proud to champion the very best British artisan producers. Here are a few currently featured on our seasonal restaurant menus, which are also available to purchase in-store.

  • UK freshwater trout has been rated 'Best Choice' by the Marine Conservation Society who promote trout as a sustainable alternative to salmon.

ChalkStream sources fine English trout on the world famous Test and Itchen Rivers in Hampshire. Slow grown for 2 years in farms built on fast flowing pure chalk stream water, their trout are fit and lean with a unique, clean taste.

  • St Ewe Free Range Eggs are a multi-award winning free-range egg producer based in Cornwall.

With over 40 years farming background, family values and nutrition are the focus of all they do, they are also mindful of our impact on the environment always making sure the hens’ welfare comes first.

These infamous eggs have rich, delicious tasting yolks - a real indulgence on our breakfast dishes.

All St Ewe eggs are Red Lion Code registered, RSPCA Assured and Vegetarian Society accredited.

  • Calon Wen is a small co-operative of 25 organic family farms across Wales. They believe in producing exceptional organic milk that tastes great and is sustainably produced.

All Calon Wen farmers attempt to maximise the amount of time their cows spend outside in the fields - this can mean cows being outside from the beginning of February right through to the end of November. Their cows therefore live on a high forage diet for potentially 75% of the year or, for as long as the grass is rich enough and plentiful enough to sustain them. When inside (when grass quality and /or soil conditions dictate) they are fed with hay or silage from their own chemical-free fields.

Their farmers are paid for the quality as well as the quantity of milk they produce, which means farmers are not incentivised by high yielding systems.

  • Jam Packed Preserves are packed full of fruit and veg - in fact their products contain a higher quantity of fruit and veg per 100g than most supermarket brands.

Made in small batches, hand-stirred with local and ethically sourced sustainable ingredients their preserves contain nothing but natural ingredients and of course jam packed with fruit and veg.

Aiming to make luxury British preserves that won’t cost the earth they have set ethical and sustainable goals and values of supporting the British farming community including:

    • championing British pollinators and other insects on their packs. Without the pollinators, we will have no ingredients!

    • Support British wildlife conservation by supporting the work of the Bumblebee Conservation Trust and the Bee Friendly Trust.

    • Support the British farming economy to promote sustainable farming by buying ingredients from British growers whenever possible.
