MoMENtum exists as a programme of men-only guest speaker events under the umbrella of St Paul's Church in Dorking - a vibrant and thriving Church of England church. MoMENtum events are held at HolmeStores and the £20 ticket price includes pizza and a drink. The group is made up of people from all backgrounds and all stages of life and faith.

Monday 5 Feb - Tom Hill

Between 2003 and 2016 Tom Hill served as an officer in the Metropolitan Police, across various front line roles including urgent response, neighbourhood policing, and counter-terrorism, in which capacity he represented the UK government overseas.

After thirteen years enforcing the law Tom followed God's call and left the police to train as a vicar! He now serves as Associate Minister at Leatherhead Parish Church, which is undergoing an exciting period of revitalisation. On 5 February he will be sharing some of his experiences from both fields, and offering some reflections about changing careers, focussing on the importance of finding identity and purpose in modern life and work.
